Ginger Shapiro is having a really bad day. It just happens to be her wedding day-and she just happens to be nine months' pregnant. "Love and Other Dilemmas" is a spirited comedy, set in East Vancouver, in which the lovely Gabrielle Miller ("Corner Gas") channels the feistiness of Reese Witherspoon and the comedic touch of Lucille Ball. To dispel the Shapiro family's rather unfortunate wedding-day curse, Ginger must stumble through a slew of obstacles-like thwarting a mobster who has a crush on her-and till make it to the synagogue on time.
