BC's 10 Most Beautiful People

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but we think you'll agree that our picks for this years 10 Most Beautiful British Columbians all richly deserve the designation. And, sure, each one may have hit the joackpot in the genetic lottery, but we're big believers that there's more to beauty than meets the eye. Our winners offer scads of substance to go along with their style - and that, we think, is a beautiful thing. How hard was it to cull these cuties from among the heaps of homegrown hotties? Major. But it did confirm one thing: Our license plates don't read "Beautiful British Columbia" for nothing.

Claim To Fame:

This hard worker stars simultaneously in the CTV series Corner Gas, the highest-rated program in Canadian television history, and the quirky comedy Robson Arms.

Give Peas a Chance:

You're not likely to catch her noshing at Gotham Steakhouse. This White Rock-raised gal's a vegetarian who just happens to make "a mean Arrabiata sauce."

Hobbies:

Off-camera, she can often be found walking her dog Beatrice on Jericho Beach or putting up her dukes with a boxing coach.

Home Base:

Miller divides her days between L.A. and Vancouver though she recently spent time in Mali, Africa, on a humanitarian mission with World Vision.

Guilty Pleasure:

Dancing With the Stars. "Need I say more?"
