It's a Gas
Rising Canadian actor Gabrielle Miller find her Mojo in the middle of the Prairie

Gabrielle Miller

How You Know Her
She's Lacey on the hit CTV show Corner Gas, filmed in Saskatchewan. You also know this Vancouver-born actor from films "Marine Life" and "Ruperts Land", and from TV appearances on everything from "Da Vinci's Inquest" to "Frasier".

Touching Base
We caught up with Gabrielle at Mojo, her favourite Regina restaurant. "It feels like a piece of home. There's something about it that reminds me of the West Coast in some way."

Creature Comfort
"It's very light and airy, but intimate. The crowd seems pretty diverse, all ages, cool. And everyone's attracted to good food."

Frequency Factor
"I go every couple of weekends. When family comes to town, that's where I take them. It's fun to go out with my girlfriends as well and just hang out."

On The Menu
"My favourite think is the pan-seared stuffed tofu with roasted red pepper relish, polenta and olive marinara sauce. I'm a lifelong vegetarian and, they have delicious vegetarian options. That can be hard to find, especially on the Prairies."

Nice Work
"Corner Gas has been incredible. I love being Lacey. I feel for her because she tries so hard to fit in."

Stay Tuned
Watch for Gabrielle early next year in the new half-hour comedy/drama "Robson Arms", co-starring Mark McKinney.
